Aspiring Designers Please Read Post By Catvinnat - 2/7/2011 9:32:52 AM
Yet again we are seeing 'templates'appearing in the gallery made by users who do not own the kits they are using.

You have to make the kit as well as the template - you cannot make templates with other designers work and expect Artscow to approve it and pay you for it.

The only person who will be paid is the designer of the kit.

I'm sure the designers of the kits will be delighted that you are plugging their work - if the designs are copied they will be paid for their kit use.

Kits take many hours and days to design and each designer retains the copyright to their work allowing limited use for Artscow products under the terms and conditions which Artscow publish. It is only fair and right that they are the only one to profit from that work with templates.
