Get right of Silverlight!

LOVE uploading designs for textiles. SO EASY.
HATE Silverlight and trying to upload journal artwork. SO PAINFUL! Silverlight seems archaic and seems to work less and less. IE?? How about Chrome?
I'm thankful for the wide array of products offered but I've been trying (on pc and mac, chrome/safari/ie) to upload some images for journals and while the images are loading I keep getting an error screen or "install Silverlight".
Designers want to focus on designing not trying to figure out an artscow rubik's cube.
PLEASE SIMPLIFY THIS.
(for the record yes I've ordered journals in the past but artscow needs to update their upload/template system for all their products not just the most popular ones)
