Thumbs Up for ArtsCow's Quality Print of Photo Books Reply

My two books from ArtsCow arrived yesterday.
I have a few comments to make.
    01) Print quality superb. Matt finish removes glare from the book.
    02) One of my book has a lot of journal in it. For text print quality, it would be better to journal using Illustrator but I was too lazy to transfer my file from Photoshop. Print result - Absolutely Perfect
    03) Customer Service - good. I had a complaint and it was dealt with professionally.
    04) Book Review service by Ruby is great. However ArtsCow need to look into the size setting of the Title in the spine. Ruby told me to reduce my font size, which I did. I have two different font sizes for the two books but they both look the same to me. The book preview for this part (spine) is quite deceiving. I would recommend you let Ruby (ArtsCow) go through your book before you print to avoid an error.

Would I print again with ArtsCow? - DEFINITELY!

Here's a travel book for my daughter: An Adventure of Two Best Friends in Malaysia Vol 1 (40 pages)

Wow - stunning! I love both of them. I really like how you were able to put so much journaling in there and it still looks so nice and neat - like a magazine! Very awesome job!

    Hi Alice,

Thank you for your book review.

I would like to clarify one thing for the spine. Before you request us to review, you have added this book in cart. Then you have amended the spine, and supposed the book design in the cart will update your saved version.

The book in "My saved design" will be saved as a new file, so it is not the same as the one in cart. That's why you placed the order and the book came out just like before. You have to add the latest one in cart again after you have edited anything.

Sorry that I did not mentioned this to you. But I think the final book is excellent still.

Thank you for mentioning that Ruby I did not know that.

And wow Alice you did a great job on those books. They look amazing. And does anybody watch So You Think You Can Dance? On the front cover of the second book, doesn't the little boy on the right look like Mark from the last season? How cool is that? Anyway, now I'm off topic. Great job!

    Hi Ruby,
I can't recall if I added the amended copy to the cart! Is there any way to find that out because I have another travel book for printing soon and want to have the same font size.

Thank you ladies for your comments. :) My daughter wanted her book to be 'non scrapbook looking' and magazine like. She was specific. LOL

    Hi Alice,

I think the best way is after you confirmed you have finished the last version of your book, then you add the book into cart.

I can also send you a link the design in your order, so you can check and confirm it is the version you want.

About the link - is it to 'My Saved Designs' Link? The Edit and Create New Product links aren't working for me.
I'll check on that again much later.

    Thank you, Ruby.

You can digiscrap in almost any photo editting software. Then you upload it and just drop in in the book.

Yes, RM is right. I create my photobook in Photoshop CS3 and then upload and drop the finished layout here to be printed.
If you have this graphic software or similar but don't know how to structure your layouts, you can visit my templates section in my store. I also provide customized photobook service at a very reasonable rate.

The books are wonderful. I don't see any of the layouts you are using in your book. Are they Artscow's layout, or from outside sources?
