In order to use the free credits for yourself, do not generate the codes. When you add an item to your cart for which you have a free credit, they will automatically be deducted from your total at checkout.

If you have generated a code for an item which you DO wish to use yourself, simply copy the code and enter it back into your Credit & Discount section and click Validate. The item will then be automatically applied during checkout.

You may giveaway/trade codes w/ other members by clicking on the generate button beside any item in your Credit & Discount list and then copying and pasting the code into an e-mail or PM and sharing that code with whomever you want to share it with. Be careful posting codes on the forum if they are meant for a specific person as there are unfortunately a number of people who take credits that are not meant for them. It is best to send a code directly to a specific person unless you do not mind that anybody can get it.

Artscow releases codes occasionally for its members to enter into their Credit and Discount section to create more free credits. Typically these codes are good for one month after you enter them. Keep a lookout for these codes. Here are two, one has expired already, but occasionally they still work a little while after they are supposed to have expired. The other is about to expire:

    Coupon code: 8X10PRINTS
    Expires on: 12/31/2009
This code gives you 10 8x10 prints each month for 12 months

    Coupon code: 520P8X8BKS
    Expires on: 12/28/2009
This code give you 5 8x8 20 pages books

    I hope this helps!

RE:RE:About free credits Reply

Thank you for answering but it is not working for me. My case:
I have a free letter opener credit, in my cart I see this:

    Total Price $52.96
    1 free Letter Opener ($13.99)
    Total Price : $38.97

so it seems I am getting a Letter Opener for free...

    BUT

when I go to check out, I see this:

    Order Summary
    Items $52.96
    Shipping/Handling $21.96
    Coupon Discount ($21.96)
    Order Total $52.96

(after applying a shipping discount coupon)
Maybe I cannot have more than one credit/coupon ?

    I do not understand....

Ahhh, that is what I forgot to mention, free shipping or other discounts will not work with the free credits. You would have to place a separate order to take advantage of the free credits (if you have other items in your cart) or remove the free shipping coupon.
